The Not-So-Final Draft
As the fruit of the Spirit develops, so should our identity statement. Not because our identity changes, that is set when we are saved. Not because God loves us more or less as we grow in faith, or don’t. The identity statement changes as our understanding of and relationship with Jesus deepens.

Our Identity is in the Promiser – Part One
Determining an identity statement is not done to fluff and buff your ego so you feel better about yourself. It’s not to cover over what others have told you about how they see you, or what you could improve in your appearance or personality. It’s more like your car windshield defroster.
